3rd Centenarians Shine at DSLP Literacy Fest

 The students of Guru Tegh Bahadur 3rd Centenary Public school, C-Block, Mansarover Garden, New Delhi were the recipients of several awards at the ‘ Delhi Schools’ Literacy Project Valedictory Function which was held on Friday, September13,2019. The 3rd Centenarian volunteers have been working with unabated spirit to contribute in educating the underprivileged illiterates. They also participated whole-heartedly in all the activities organized during the literacy week Inter School Competitions-2019. In the individual categories, Prabhjot Singh, X B & Jaspreet Singh, XII C bagged 1st Prize in Declamation Contest with Power-Point Presentation, Japneet Kaur, VIII B won 1st Prize in Script Writing, Mehar Kaur, VII B got 3rd Prize in Story Writing. Harshvardhan Singh, IX A got 3rd Prize in Poetry Recitation and Amrit Kaur, IX B got 1st Prize in ‘On The Spot Cartoon Making Competition’. Carrying on with the winning streak, the school also bagged 3rd Prize in Nukkad Natak Competition. The Chief Guest Mr. Ramesh Negi, IAS, Chairperson, Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Govt. of NCT of Delhi gave away the prestigious awards to the winners at the glittering Valedictory Ceremony held at Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, in the presence of distinguished gathering.
