United Nations Day was celebrated in the school on 24th October, 2019 in the school Morning Assembly. The anchors, Sukhpreet Singh and Gagandeep Singh of Std. X B enlightened the gathering about the significance, objectives and composition of the United Nations. They further explained that UN has been striving hard to promote peace, respect for human rights, protect the environment, fight disease and reduce poverty. The student were urged to be familiar with this world body as they will shape the world of tomorrow. A plethora of activities were conducted in the zero period to mark the day. The emblem of the UNO was drawn by the students of Std. V & VI. A postage stamp was designed by grade VII. Students of Std. VIII made wrist bands for the volunteers of UNO. Grade IX students prepared badges for the office bearers of UNO and students of Std. X issued an advisory to maintain peace & discipline as Secretary-General of their class.
