Hindi Diwas Enthralls
Guru Tegh Bahadur 3rd Centenary Public School, Mansarovar Garden celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ with enthusiasm on 12 Dec, 2019, to pay tribute to the official language of India. The programme was inaugurated by the Director of the school, Dr. (Mrs.) Surjeet Kohli, by unveiling a scroll of flow chart of famous Hindi poets and authors. Then, the Director, the Principal, Mrs. Jaspritma Kaur and Principal Junior School, Mrs. Manbeen Kaur were honoured with beautiful poems written on scrolls, by the Hindi Department. Thereafter, students of Std. VIII recited Dohas. This was followed by a thought provoking play entitled,’ Kya Hum Shikshit Hain?’ presented by the students of Std. VI to VIII. It grabbed the attention of the audience with its message on the need to keep our environment clean and its humorous dialogues. After this, Sneha Sharma and Luvy of Std. X shared the importance of punctuation in a text. It was indeed an educative and entertaining programme.
